Day 1Arrival in Marrakech

Your adventure begins in Marrakech, the bustling Red City. After airport pickup, you’ll be transferred to your traditional riad in the medina. Spend your first evening wandering the lively Jemaa el-Fnaa square, savoring Moroccan street food, and enjoying local music and storytelling.

Day 2Marrakech City Tour

Explore Marrakech’s historical treasures with a local guide. Visit the iconic Koutoubia Mosque, Bahia Palace, and Saadian Tombs. Lose yourself in the vibrant souks and discover artisans crafting everything from leather goods to intricate lanterns. Enjoy a peaceful stroll through the Majorelle Garden before settling in for a traditional Moroccan dinner.

Day 3Marrakech to Ait Ben Haddou via High Atlas Mountains

Depart Marrakech and journey through the breathtaking Tizi n’Tichka Pass in the High Atlas Mountains. Visit an argan oil cooperative en route before reaching the UNESCO World Heritage site of Ait Ben Haddou, a famous ksar used in films like Gladiator and Game of Thrones. Overnight in a traditional guesthouse with panoramic kasbah views.

Day 4Ait Ben Haddou – Ouarzazate – Skoura – Dades Valley

Continue to Ouarzazate, known as the Hollywood of Morocco, and tour the legendary Atlas Film Studios. Then head to the oasis of Skoura to visit Kasbah Amridil. In the afternoon, travel through the Valley of Roses and the dramatic Dades Gorges, where you’ll spend the night in a cozy riad nestled between the red cliffs.

Day 5Lake Geneva and Château de Chillon

After breakfast, visit the Todra Gorge, a spectacular canyon favored by rock climbers. Continue through the palm groves of the Ziz Valley to Erfoud, known for its fossil workshops. Arrive in Merzouga on the edge of the Sahara Desert. Here, you’ll switch to camels and ride across the golden dunes to a luxury desert camp. Enjoy Berber music around the fire under a blanket of stars.

Day 6Exploring the Sahara Desert

Spend a full day immersed in Saharan culture. Visit nomadic families, explore the Gnawa village of Khamlia known for its spiritual music, and witness the changing colors of the dunes. Return to your desert camp for another magical evening under the stars

Day 7Merzouga to Alnif – Nkob – Draa Valley – Agdz

Depart the desert and head west through the remote desert towns of Alnif and Nkob, surrounded by date palm oases and rugged mountains. Travel through the Draa Valley, Morocco’s longest river valley, and stay overnight in the peaceful town of Agdz, known for its ancient kasbahs.

Day 8Agdz to Taroudant via Taznakht and Anti-Atlas
