Itinerary

Day 1Arrival in Marrakech

Your adventure begins in Marrakech, the bustling Red City. After airport pickup, you’ll be transferred to your traditional riad in the medina. Spend your first evening wandering the lively Jemaa el-Fnaa square, savoring Moroccan street food, and enjoying local music and storytelling.

Day 2Marrakech City Tour

Today is dedicated to discovering the cultural highlights of Marrakech with a local guide. Visit the elegant Bahia Palace, famous for its beautiful courtyards and intricate craftsmanship, followed by the historic Saadian Tombs.

Continue to the Ben Youssef Madrasa, a masterpiece of Islamic architecture, and stroll through the Mellah (Jewish Quarter). In the afternoon, relax at the peaceful Majorelle Garden and Yves Saint Laurent Museum. The evening is free for shopping, a hammam experience, or enjoying the city’s nightlife.

Day 3Marrakech → High Atlas → Ait Ben Haddou → Ouarzazate

Leave the city behind and drive into the breathtaking High Atlas Mountains, passing small Berber villages and scenic viewpoints. Cross the winding Tizi n’Tichka Pass at 2,260 meters before reaching Ait Ben Haddou, an ancient fortified ksar and UNESCO World Heritage Site. Walk through its alleys and learn about its appearance in famous films such as Game of Thrones and Gladiator.

Continue to Ouarzazate, known as the “Hollywood of Africa,” where you can visit the Taourirt Kasbah or Atlas Film Studios. End your day relaxing in a peaceful hotel surrounded by desert landscapes.

Day 4Ouarzazate → Skoura Oasis → Dades Valley

After breakfast, drive through the lush Skoura Oasis, home to thousands of palm trees and historic kasbahs such as Kasbah Amridil. Continue along the Road of a Thousand Kasbahs, once an important trade route.

Arrive in the dramatic Dades Valley, known for its red rock formations, winding roads, and stunning viewpoints. Spend the evening enjoying the peaceful atmosphere of the valley.

Day 5 Dades Valley → Todgha Gorge → Merzouga (Sahara Desert)

After breakfast, travel through the Skoura Oasis, home to lush palm groves and the historic Amridil Kasbah. Continue along the Road of a Thousand Kasbahs to the dramatic Dades Valley, known for its winding roads and striking rock formations. Then head to the impressive Todgha Gorge, a narrow canyon with 300-meter cliffs.

By late afternoon, arrive in Merzouga, gateway to the giant dunes of Erg Chebbi. Enjoy a camel trek into the desert at sunset and arrive at your luxury camp, where you’ll be welcomed with mint tea, Berber music, and a traditional Moroccan dinner. Spend the night under a breathtaking star-filled sky.

Day 6Merzouga → Ziz Valley → Midelt → Ifrane → Fes

Wake early to watch the sunrise over the dunes before beginning your journey north. Drive through the stunning Ziz Valley, known for its sweeping palm groves and ancient villages. Continue through the High Atlas mountains to Midelt, a quiet town surrounded by orchards and cedar forests. After lunch, travel through the cedar forests of the Middle Atlas where you might see wild Barbary macaques.

Arrive in Ifrane, a charming alpine-style town known as the “Little Switzerland of Morocco.” By evening, reach Fes, the country’s cultural and spiritual capital. Check into your riad and relax before tomorrow’s full exploration.

Day 7Full Day of Sightseeing in Fes – Ancient History & Culture

Dedicate your day to exploring Fes el-Bali, the oldest and most authentic medina in Morocco, with a licensed local guide. Visit the Al-Qarawiyyin Mosque and University, one of the oldest educational institutions in the world.

Explore the stunning Bou Inania Madrasa and the colorful Chouara Tannery, where leather is dyed using centuries-old techniques. Wander through narrow souks filled with artisans creating pottery, brass lamps, carpets, and traditional clothing. Visit the Mellah, the Nejjarine Fountain, and the Andalusian Quarter. End with a panoramic view from the Marinid Tombs, offering sweeping views of the ancient city.

Day 8Fes to Chefchaouen

Today you will drive heads north through fertile countryside, olive groves, and traditional Moroccan villages, offering a peaceful contrast to the busy medina of Fes. As you leave the plains behind, the road gradually climbs into the Rif Mountains, where the scenery becomes greener and more dramatic, with winding roads and panoramic viewpoints along the way.

By late morning, you arrive in Chefchaouen, famously known as the Blue City of Morocco. Nestled in the Rif Mountains, Chefchaouen is celebrated for its blue-washed buildings, relaxed atmosphere, and stunning mountain backdrop. You will have several hours to explore the medina at your own pace, wandering through narrow blue alleys, small squares, and local artisan shops selling handmade textiles, woven blankets, and traditional souvenirs. Highlights include Outa el Hammam Square, the heart of the medina, and the historic Kasbah, which offers beautiful views from its tower.

Day 9Chefchaouen → Tangier → Rabat

The day starts with a departure from Chefchaouen at 11:00 AM ,  for spending the morning in the blue alleys of chefchaoune cupturing more morning pictures then traveling through the scenic Rif Mountains toward Tangier. Upon arrival, you explore key highlights such as Cape Spartel, the Hercules Caves, the historic Kasbah, and the lively medina, with time for lunch and a short walk along the coast.

In the afternoon, the journey continues south to Rabat, where you visit the Hassan Tower, the Mausoleum of Mohammed V, and the Kasbah of the Udayas. The day ends in Rabat after a long but rewarding route that connects Morocco’s mountain beauty, coastal charm, and imperial history.

Day 10 Rabat → Casablanca → Marrakech

After having breakfast your journey begins in Rabat, Morocco’s elegant capital, where you explore the Hassan Tower, the Mausoleum of Mohammed V, and the Kasbah of the Udayas overlooking the Atlantic. You then travel to Casablanca to visit the impressive Hassan II Mosque and enjoy a short walk along the Corniche. In the afternoon, continue on to Marrakech, arriving in the evening to experience the lively atmosphere of Jemaa el-Fnaa Square and the historic medina, completing a day that showcases Morocco’s political, modern, and cultural capitals.

Upon arrival in the coastal city of Essaouira, explore the UNESCO-listed medina with its blue-and-white architecture, walk along the historic Skala ramparts overlooking the Atlantic, and visit the lively fishing port.
