Itinerary

Day 1Fes , Ifran , Azrou , Ziz Valley . Merzouga

Your 7 days merzouga sahara tours from fes begins with an early departure from Fes, driving south through the Middle Atlas mountains. You’ll pass through the charming town of Ifrane, known as “Little Switzerland,” and Azrou, where you can take a brief stop to view the Barbary apes in the cedar forests. Continue your drive, enjoying views of the Ziz Valley with its vast palm groves, and reach the town of Erfoud, known for its fossil production, before finally arriving in Merzouga, the gateway to the Sahara Desert.

In the late afternoon, you will embark on a camel ride to a traditional Berber camp in the dunes of Erg Chebbi . Watch a magical desert sunset before enjoying a delicious dinner and spending the night under the stars in a desert camp.

Day 2Exploring merzouga , 4x4 Tour of dunes , khamlia , nomade familly , fossile site

Wake up early to witness the breathtaking sunrise over the vast dunes of Erg Chebbi. After breakfast, you’ll enjoy a full day of exploration in the Sahara. First, embark on a 4×4 trip deeper into the desert to visit local Berber nomadic families. You’ll have the opportunity to experience their lifestyle, traditions, and learn how they thrive in the harsh desert environment. then visit khamlia village and thier speritual music of ganawa  . you’ll have a break for lunch in marzouga or hassi lbaied. Afterward, enjoy a walk through the Qasis , including the stunning black desert and the fossil-rich regions. Return to your desert camp in the evening for a traditional dinner, followed by stargazing before spending another night in the Sahara.

Day 3Merzouga , Arfoud , Tinjdad , Todra Gorges , Dades Gorges

After breakfast in the desert, you’ll depart for the Dades Valley, traveling through the town of Rissani, the historic capital of the Tafilalt region. Stop at the Todra Gorges for a short hike along the riverbed, surrounded by impressive rock formations towering over you. Continue your journey to the Dades Valley, known for its striking landscapes, green valleys, and picturesque kasbahs.

Arrive in the Dades Valley in the late afternoon and check into your hotel or guesthouse. Enjoy dinner and an overnight stay in the valley.

Day 4Dades Gorges , Rose valley , Ouarzazat , Ait ben haddou , High atlas mountain , Marrakech

After breakfast, you’ll depart from Dades Valley and head toward Ouarzazate, known as the “Gateway to the Sahara.” On the way, you’ll pass through the scenic Skoura Oasis, which is famous for its lush palm groves and historic kasbahs. In Ouarzazate, you’ll have the opportunity to visit Taourirt Kasbah, a beautifully restored fortress that once served as the residence of a powerful local family. This kasbah offers insight into Morocco’s historical architecture and rural life.

From Ouarzazate, continue to Ait Benhaddou, a UNESCO World Heritage site and one of the most iconic and picturesque kasbahs in Morocco. This ancient fortified village, with its distinctive mud-brick architecture, has been featured in numerous films such as Gladiator and Game of Thrones. Take a guided tour of Ait Benhaddou, walking through the narrow alleys and learning about the history of the site, which once served as an important stop on the caravan route between the Sahara and Marrakech.

After exploring Ait Benhaddou, continue your drive through the stunning Tizi n’Tichka mountain pass toward Marrakech. Arrive in Marrakech in the late afternoon or early evening and check into your riad or hotel for the night.

Day 5Marrakech sightseeing

Spend your day  with a local city tour guide in Marrakech discovering the city’s many highlights. Start with a visit to the Koutoubia Mosque, the largest mosque in Marrakech, followed by the Bahia Palace, known for its beautiful gardens and intricate architecture. Explore the vibrant souks of the Medina, where you can shop for traditional handicrafts, spices, and textiles.

In the afternoon, visit the Jardin Majorelle, a peaceful garden once owned by Yves Saint Laurent, and the nearby Berber Museum. In the evening, enjoy the lively atmosphere at Jemaa el-Fnaa Square and perhaps try some Moroccan street food.

Day 6Day Trip to Essaouira
