After transfer from the airport to your hotel, take a relaxed afternoon exploring the grand Hassan II Mosque, one of the world’s largest and most beautiful mosques, built partly over the Atlantic ocean. Its marble and tile work, intricate wood carving, and imposing minaret are something to behold. If time permits, stroll through the Corniche by the ocean, have dinner at a local restaurant to try fresh seafood, or visit Mohamed V Square to feel the pace of the city. Overnight stay in Casablanca.
After breakfast, depart from Casablanca heading north toward Rabat, the political capital. In Rabat you’ll visit the Kasbah of the Udayas, the Hassan Tower, and the Mausoleum of King Mohammed V. Enjoy lunch in Rabat, then drive through the Rif Mountains toward Chefchaouen, the “Blue City” nestled in a mountain valley. Blue‑washed walls, gentle alleyways, and relaxed pace make Chefchaouen a refreshing pause. Evening in a charming riad, soaking in sunset colors over the blue medina.
Start the day wandering more through Chefchaouen’s medina and hidden viewpoints. Then depart for Volubilis, the well‑preserved ancient Roman ruins set amid rolling fields. Walking among the mosaics, basilicas, and triumphal arches gives a sense of Morocco’s deep historical layers. From Volubilis, visit nearby Moulay Idriss Zerhoun (a holy town) before continuing to Fes, one of the imperial cities, where you’ll stay overnight.
After breakfast meet the local guide . full day to immerse in the cultural heart of Morocco. Fes El‑Bali, the old medina, is a labyrinth of narrow alleyways, tanneries (such as Chouara), artisan quarters, and historic madrasas. See the University of Al‑Quaraouiyine, among the oldest in the world. The Jewish Quarter (Mellah) offers a different flavor, with old synagogues and rich history. Your guide will help you navigate the maze, find hidden gems, and learn about the crafts, cuisine, and daily life. Overnight in Fes.
Depart Fes early, driving into the Middle Atlas Mountains. Pass through Ifrane (nicknamed “Little Switzerland” for its alpine feel) and the cedar forest where you might spot local monkeys. Move on via Midelt, crossing high passes with changing landscapes, to reach the Ziz Valley an oasis of date palms, dramatic gorges, and rugged terrain. By late afternoon arrive at Merzouga near the edge of the Sahara. Prepare for an overnight in desert camp; after dinner, ride camels into the dunes, spend time under the stars and enjoy the silence and majesty of the desert.
Wake up early to witness the sunrise over the dunes—golden light spilling across the erg. After breakfast, take the camel ride or 4×4 back to Merzouga village. Then depart through the region of Rissani (famous for its market / souk), stop in Erfoud with its fossil workshops, then onward to the dramatic Todra Gorges, where sheer canyon walls rise steeply. The gorge is perfect for walking, photography, and feeling the power of nature. Continue on to the Dades Valley, with its “monkey toes” rock formations and stunning vistas.
