Begin your journey in the vibrant city of Marrakech, traveling through the majestic High Atlas Mountains. The route takes you through Tizi N’tichka pass , offering sweeping views of the mountains, Berber villages, and valleys below. As you make your way toward the desert, a key highlight is the stop at Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah , a UNESCO World Heritage site. This ancient fortified village, made of adobe and clay, has been a filming location for many Hollywood movies and is an excellent place to learn about Moroccan architecture and culture. After exploring the kasbah, you will continue towards Dades Valley , known for its stunning rock formations like the famous “Monkey Fingers” and its beautiful, winding roads lined with palm groves. Upon arrival in Dades Valley, enjoy the tranquil surroundings before settling in for an overnight stay at your chosen accommodation.

Day 2: Dades Valley _ Tinjdad _ Arfoud _ to Merzouga (Sahara Desert)

Continue your adventure toward Marzouga , a small village located on the edge of the Sahara Desert . As you drive, the landscape transforms, passing through the Draa Vally  where you’ll see expansive palm groves, ancient kasbahs (which is almost 1001 ), and rugged terrain. Stop in Rissani, a traditional town that offers a glimpse into local life with its bustling markets and historic sites. From Rissani, it’s a short drive to Marzouga , where you’ll experience the vast Sahara send dunes . Upon arrival, you will embark on a camel trek through the golden dunes, a peaceful and surreal experience as you journey into the heart of the desert. The camel ride leads you to a Desert camp , where you will enjoy a traditional dinner under the stars, accompanied by Berber music.
